and i read from the help topic about direct linking to our files..
that mean we dont have to login with those username and password again... but i also noticed about this :

Quote:

*Please note: If you are a member of the free Yahoo! Briefcase service, public access to your uploaded files will no longer be available. However, you will still be able to share your files with people with Yahoo! IDs and via email.
so can we direct link our files? or there any other free webhosting for direct linking beside yahoo briefcase? seems like we're still very depend on yahoo briefcase.

here's the complete text from the help webpage of yahoo briefcase :

How do I share files?
Share items with people in two ways: give them access to the folders in your briefcase, or email them the links to the items.
"Sharing" is associated with the contents of a folder. While creating a folder you determine who to share it with -- whether it be everybody, nobody, or only specific people.

If you select "Private" for your folder or album, nobody can access it.

If you select "Public" for your folder, anybody can access it, even if they don't have a Yahoo! ID.

If you select "Friends" for your folder or album, only the people whose Yahoo! IDs you list will be able to access it.

At any time, you can change who has access to a folder by clicking on "Edit" next to the folder or album name (on the front page of your briefcase).

The easiest way to point somebody to your folder is to copy its URL and send it to them. Or, tell a person to go to the front page of your briefcase where they can find the folders or albums they have permission to access.

*Please note: If you are a member of the free Yahoo! Briefcase service, public access to your uploaded files will no longer be available. However, you will still be able to share your files with people with Yahoo! IDs and via email.

Hmmm...direct link from YB? That would be just too good.....i was a bit confused at the instructions...I'll test it later when I have some more time.
I don't know if you can switch your account from one country YB to another but you can always create new accounts on other countries YB. I have accounts in my country, in USA and in Singapore hahaha:laugh

Why don't you just sign up for a new account under the regular Yahoo Briefcase?
