Ayu has been the best selling jpop artist in Taiwan with record sales well above all other jpop artists.
Ayu's Ballad is number one on Taiwan's g-music jpop chat for 8 weeks consecutively!! It has sold over 80,000 copies in Taiwan and the numbers are still growing.
Ayu's I am... had also won the Taiwan IFPI award to be the best-selling jpop album in Taiwan in 2002. This makes ayu the only officially recognized "jpop queen" by the taiwanese music industry.
Also, RAINBOW had sold over 111,000 copies in Taiwan. |
