Eason says she lip-synched. Ayumi Hamasaki scolds 'STUPID'

(Hong Kong news) After being accused of lip-synching, Ayumi Hamasaki, the Queen of Jpop, scolds him 'stupid'!

Jpop pop diva Ayu held her coliseum concert last Saturday, and Eason said she lip-synched 1/3 of the time.

According to Hong Kong's 'First Magazine', on this Monday (April 9th), Ayu found out about Eason criticising her on her flight back to Japan - and she was hopping mad, and her eyes were filled with tears. She dialed a satellite call immediately to the concert organiser's superiors, and while crying, demanded 'Who is this person who said I lip-synched? He is such a stupid person!'

Ayu's concert attracted a full house of 6,000 audience, and the sexily dressed Ayu danced and sang without being tired at all - and won thunderous applause from the audience (they clapped till their hands rotted). Only Eason was sleeping in the VIP row.

On the second day, when Eason attended an event, he was all praises for Ayu when asked about the concert, saying 'The Japanese's production is very good, it's very hard to do the same in HK. I felt the whole show was excellent, totally worth the money."

However, after praising the concert, Eason started to criticise Ayu's singing abilities: "I saw...... She was lip-synching at times. Almost 1/3 of the concert she lip-synched. If Hong Kongers do that they will definitely get scolded."

Eason's comment became headline news all across Asian media. We know that since Wednesday (the day Ayu arrived), the organiser has given her ALL media reports related to her, and had specially assigned a translator to read out the articles to her. However, on the post-concert day, East Asia Entertainment (organiser), asked all staff members to keep silent to prevent Ayumi from being unhappy.

This Monday, before Ayu left Hong kong, she found out about the incident. Eyes filled with tears, she said: "This Hong Kong tour, I gave it my all and I was in my best condition. I sang LIVE through out the whole concert. I don't understand why he said that! Who is he?'

The staff members with her said "He is the one who came backstage to greet you before and after the concert. Do you remember? He's the short and fat guy."

Ayu got furious and when she found out he's a HK singer, she couldn't help but scold: "BAKA!" She dialed a satellite call immediately to East Asia Entertainment, and demanded 'Who is this person? Why did he say such things about me?' As Eason is not a singer from East Asia Entertainment, Ayu's questioning were left unresolved. Ayu only had to swallow her angriness and go back to Japan.

Blue box:
Even though Ayu is already back in Japan, many Ayu fans continue scolding Eason on forum boards.

"I was there, I couldn't here Ayu lip-synching at all! This is obviously an attempt by Eason trying to snatch headlines by using Ayu's fame."

We have tried contacting Eason's manager on Tuesday on whether he will make a public apology to Ayu, but we have received no response till today.

Mmm...it's a bit repetitive, and I don't think ayu would say things like that, or release them like that. Though it'd be nice if it was true, ayu's finally acknowledged what's happened, and proved he was in the wrong

^Yeah nowadays the media reports about Ayu is all about this incident. Kinda sad that none of them choose to feature reviews on her concert instead.

Ouch x______x

If I were in Ayu's position, i'd feel pretty mad too.
I think she has every right to say how she feels about it.

I bet that's another made up news by the HK media. This is getting ridiculous, all the negative news abt her. Dun they haf anything better to do? It's like so rare that Ayu will step out of Japan to perform, yet this is the way they treat her. I hope all these reporters get out of job :grumpy

Neo Daydream 12th April 2007 03:33 PM

hmmm i wonder if itz tru.... i would b offended too

Qt Mashi 12th April 2007 03:36 PM

yeah i think this is very exagerated, these things need to be cleared up -_-"

i relli doubt Ayu was crying, maybe teary, but not crying o_O

melanie_wong 12th April 2007 03:37 PM

I wonder if "baka" really is foul language (as described in the articles)?
How come I often seen this word in japanese comics?

se7entheaven 12th April 2007 03:46 PM

I think it's almost rite
Just now I saw i-Horizon 'Yu Le Xing Zi' and the news reader said that 'about this lipsync things,(This is getting really 'famous' LOL...all the media seems to hi-lite THIS LIPSYNC stuff) the staffs have tried not to tell ayu during her flight to Japan'...after that....sorry..i couldn't catch up

4ever*ayu 12th April 2007 03:49 PM

it doesn't sound like ayu at all,
i mean, ayu would never said things like that.
the HK media just trying to make everything worst, the "ayu scold eason stupid" article is just like pulling a trigger to eason and waits for his next comment about ayu, hope that kind of thing would not happen.

babamon 12th April 2007 04:08 PM

The way the article is reported sounds quite fake. First it's the villagers news regarding they're upset with Ayu, now this. When is the HK media gonna stop?

Ayu is in the industry for like 9yrs? She must have came across diff down times and noe certainly how to deal with it. Scolding another celebrity baka (although it's alright to be angry) knowing it will somewhat affect her reputation (u cant deny the fact that despite all these ppl will still find her rude doing that and eason fans will definitely go against her)

The only thing that's 100% true now is Ayu's msg ^^
