I personally think it's a bit early to compare, there isn't even a proper leak of actual studio version of PLAY out yet.

QoHP

I like play a lot! but QoHP is better.

PLAY is good, but I think QOHP will still be my favourite.

Play for me wish White Light was on PLAY :P

i haven't heard queen of hip-pop...but i'm still gonna choose PLAY.

I think Queen of Hip Hop is her second or thrid best album. I hardly think PLAY will outdo it, but you never know.

Queen of Hip-Pop is better. The style of those songs is nicer IMO. I don't like the loud horns and loud obnoxious sounds Namie now has in her songs, esp in the start; CE,CS,IS FUNKY TOWN, Hide&Seek. I don't like those loud horns and the messy sound.

GIRL TALK, ALARM, No, those tunes are awesome. Baby Don't Cry and Violet Sauce (I was surprised that was on PLAY, then remembered it wasn;t on Queen of Hip Pop) are great tunes from PLAY. The rest is so so.

Hide & Seek, Funky Town, Baby Don't Cry, Hello, Pink Key, etc... I love them all!

I honestly couldn't tell you right now. I love QoHP, but PLAY is getting a lot of air time for me. I rather like the "chaotic" sound. Even though they're similar styles, the songs are VERY different from each other. QoHP had a "darker" aura while PLAY is a lot more fanciful. I'm sort of leaning towards QoHP having the better single tracks while PLAY has better album tracks. (Although NO will probably always be my favorite Namie song)

"PLAY" but "Queen of Hip-Pop" is a VERY SOLID album!!!

the only stuff i like in QoHP is QoHP,WMWM, No, ALL FOR U, ALARM (kinda)

I'll choose after I'll listen to VS (Spicy) and I will be able to compare all the songs against the other's songs and I'll see what I like more. So I'm waiting.

Both are very good albums, but I find myself liking more of the songs off of PLAY than Queen of Hip-Pop :yes

Queen of Hip-Pop all the way! "No" itself could win over the entire PLAY album. It's just AMAZING! I didn't really like any of Namie's stuff this year, besides "White Light" which is UNBELIEVABLE! "the SPEED STAR" was amazing as well, even though it didn't make the album. But nothing on the album compares to those songs.

Also, "Come" is her bestest song EVER!!!
