In her hometown of Miyazaki, Kyushima Misachi had made a promise that she would become a singer. Surprisingly, Misachi had very weak lungs as a child due to bad asthma, but when her parents read in the paper that folk music is good for asthma, she began singing. Misachi loved living in Miyazaki and was soon singing to the mountain by her home daily. Participating in contests throughout her school life, Misachi won first place in 6th year elementary and first year junior high. By the time she was in high school, Misachi was fully devoted to folk music.

After high school ended, Misachi was 18 and working as a beautician. Whenever the stress of work got to her, she would sing to herself and feel better. The one thing she wanted to do before she died was sing so that everybody could hear her voice. She quit work at 21 and became a street performer in Miyazaki.

Misachi moved from Miyazaki to Tokyo at 23 to begin her professional solo music career. She finally debuted in winter of 2005 with the pop/rock ballad Missing You, and three months later her first album was released. After a seven month period of no releases, Misachi released her third single Ihoujin, a cover of the 1979 hit by Kubota Saki. None of her releases reached the Oricon charts.

Special Notes:
Lita no Baai is Kyushima Misachi's second single. In the PV for the a-side, a blog is shown that is "Lita's". This is actually a real blog, though it only had two entries in it at the time the video was released. It is unknown if the blog was created specifically for the music video or if it was already existing.

The song itself is fairly reminiscent of Kelly Clarkson's song Behind These Hazel Eyes. One of Misachi's favorite artists is Clarkson, so this doesn't come off as surprising.

Ihoujin is Kyushima Misachi's third single. The title track is a cover of the popular song by Kubota Saki released in 1979, one year before Misachi's birth. The single is Misachi's first release since her first album in March 2006.

What ever happened to Misachi?! T_T I checked her official site, and there's nothing new, it still has the Kinu no Michi music, and there has been no news since may of '07...I hope she quit being a singer, she has so much talent, and is so pretty, I can't understand why people don't like her >.> I want more songs from her!

Lita no Baai is AMAZING :luv2 I'm totally addicted to it!! Her voice is awesome.
I was so confused though, when I read her biography I missunderstood it XD I thought she had started singing folk music because people's voice fit folk music well when they have asthma (or something like that XD), not because the singing would be good for her lungs~ lol
Anyway, I don't want to sound annoying, but could anyone please please upload Kinu no Michi? I was download the torrent from JPS but I'm stuck at 84.5% :(
