So, how is it that D does not have his own thread YET???

I decided to create it, and we have to thank XxCaRoLcHaNxX for the wonderful banner she made!

For those who do not know, Darren was the leader vocal of Savage Garden. He started a solo carreer back in 2002, and he has just release a wonderful double album called "This Delicate Thing We've Made", with 25 new songs, offering a true rainbow of musical experience, a travel in time through the diffferent music styles from the last 30 years... Absolutely fantastic, a fine piece of art.

It is a very electronic album, and this is the proper Darren style. The music has been created using a Fairlight CMI built in 1982.

I plan to write a review, little by little, in myspace, and I will share it here for you too.

I've been meaning to buy his new album especially since their are 25 songs on it... I think i'll go get it this weekend...

Yes his work is amazing, during Savage Garden and after. But he's so underrated now. I can't belive the album did'nt even debut in the top 10...

anyways my fav album is definitely Tension and the spark with my fav song's being...

but I have not heard the new album yet so yeah, i'm sure the list will change except for "Love and Attraction" that song is just amazing!!!!

Yes!!! The Tension and The Spark is my fav album, even after listening TDTWM, althought, the new album grows on me each day more and more...


Well, i don't think he's under-rated, he got into the 20 chart, so, for an independent release, i think it's quite good.

i like his new cd ^_^ and i like his 2nd album too... they're both awsome, havn't heard his first though.

i only bought This delicate thing last weekend, because i was in HMV with my boyf and he picked it up and i remebered it was released =O

OMG he has a very good singing voice. I only listen to his Savage Garden music though. That song "You Could Still Be Free"... very beautiful.

Now we're in 2008, and I can say This delicate thing we've made in the best album of the 2007!
