Shhh....most everyone on Sony lacks BIG popularity! I don't see what's the problem of her going back..other than she sued them and Ami going back to pop prolly won't be the same since her producers back then prolly left sony and/or the times have change and you need more pop with hip-hop influence too it!

unfortunately. my favorite underrated artists are on sony, and their sales are unfortunately not so great. :( it's a shame, really.

Potential Breakup Song is my favorite song of Aly & Aj, it's incredible amazing. When I saw Ami could cover the song soon, I got chocked. I won't listen the preview, I want to feel better when the PV airs.

Are we looking at the same record label? Actually Sony has loads of popular artists but they just don't shove them down our face like avex does. In any way I doubt they'll take back Ami after the fiasco back then. They ended up on a very sore note and I doubt that either Ami or Sony wants a happy reunion. There's a pretty big problem and taking her back probably isn't worth it for Sony.

actually, sony's the biggest music label in the world. avex is the biggest non-sony label.

Sony only has one artist with huge sales, and that's Ken Hirai.

Orange Range, Mika Nakashima , YUI & Hajime Chitose have had some success at some point, but Ayu probably sold more with Secret than those artists did combined with their latest albums ....

Avex can be considered as one of the biggest independent labels of the world, despite of people talking trash about them, Avex is still the best label to be in in the j-pop scene:yes
