"YUI for kaoru amane" or "ERIKA for kaoru amane"?

in term of their songs, or their acting, or their REAL music talent or just their personalities...

Songs: ERIKA - Her songs were far better than YUI's.
Acting: ERIKA - Her acting is obviously far better than YUI also. YUI was just bad.
Vocals: ERIKA - I love her voice. I can't stand YUI.
Musical talent: YUI - She knows how to play guitar while ERIKA doesn't.
Personalities: ??? - No opinion about that. I don't know much about YUI at all and Erika Sawajiri can be quite something, haha.

OVERALL: ERIKA :heart

Plus, Taiyou no Uta the drama totally owns Taiyou no Uta the movie.

YUI, definitly.

I haven't watched the movie yet. However, I watched the drama recently, and it was totally awesome and sad of course. So, for me the real Kaoru Amane is always ERIKA :yes

I'm pretty sure of that ERIKA beats YUI in acting too. Musically I like them both though.

Songs:
YUI - Good-bye days is much much better than taiyo no uta. Taiyo no uta getting pretty boring after a while...

Acting:
ERIKA - she's a actor and YUI's not. But YUI is cuter in the movie then erika in the drama

Vocals:
YUI - Her voice haunts me days & nights...addicted

Musical talent:
YUI - She composed the song and her passion for music is something u can't imagaine...while ERIKA loves to have a guitar with her and pretend to play it even if she dunno how to...i wonder why she ever wants to be a musician?

Personalities:
YUI - she is like the opposite of erika...she's shy, polite, innocute, cute and playful...

OVERALL: YUI


but YUI is the first one to protrait kaoru amane...followed by erika. You should watch the 'original' taiyo no uta "the midnight sun" movie...

Don't watch the movie then. You're going to be really disappointed. I was really hyped up to watch the movie. Even more than the drama. I ended up almost sleeping through the movie. After that, I didn't even wanted to watch the drama but I decided to give it a shot and I think it's a lot better. The movie is more the type that's really slow and silent through the whole thing.

Well, it's her role to play a musician. No wonder she has to pretend to play the guitar. :shrug

Songs: mixed feelings. though i've been with yui longer, erika's songs are pretty good =3
Acting: haven't seen the drama, loved the movie, can't decide yet
Vocals: YUI. at the time, erika hasn't gotten her vocal training yet (i assume?) so it sounded a bit odd to me
Musical talent: YUI. she can play a guitar (i envy XD)
Personalities: hmm...yui's shy and innocent, and cute, and stuff...erika's pretty, but she can be quite a ______

OVERALL: YUI =3 though erika is close!!!

Taiyo no Uta = overrated.

i don't find anything special about Sawajiri Erika, to be honest. she's just another idol, but with a nasty attitude. i like YUI more, in all fields.

I prefer Erika for Kaoru Amane

The movie seemed rushed compared to the drama, which makes sense of course, but ERIKA fits the role better and her acting is better than YUI's. As for the songs, I loved both the singles, and I can't really decide which is the one I prefer, both of them did a great job with the songs. Oh and I too watched the drama first, the movie seemed pretty boring then.

YUI

I loved the movie, and just hated the drama. Stopped watching it after two episodes. YUI's music was far more interesting to listen too, and she was just more fitting for the role as the actual Kaoru Amane figure. She was cute, shy, but very passionate of what she loved and dreamed about. Erika was just too diva-ish for that role man, she didn't seem to be Kaoru Amane but someone who's just trying to emulate her. I loved the movie. Sorry, but Erika loses by a wide margin.

Definitely, ERIKA. She is a diva. She has talent, she sings very well, she has talent acting and singing and has a diva pose. I love her. :heart
