Voyage lyrics help

Hi, I'm trying to get my head round the lyrics to voyage, but I need help!

my japanese is poor, although I know chinese well so know many of the kanji, but still I need you to help me understand which line is saying what.

If it doesn't make sense as a sentence don;t worry, I'll work it out, but I would like to know what the japanese on each line "means" exactly, word for word.

this is the part:

何度道に迷ったのだろう
その度にあたたかい手を

差しのべてくれたのも
あなたでした

僕達はこの長い旅路の
果てに何を想う
誰も皆愛求め彷徨う
旅人なんだろう
共に行こう飽きる程に

Nando michi ni mayotta no darou
Sono tabi ni atatakai te wo

Sashi nobete kureta no mo
Anata deshita

Bokutachi wa kono nagai tabiji no
Hate ni nani wo omou
Dare mo minna ai motome samayou
Tabibito nan darou
Tomo ni ikou akiru hodo ni

Thanks for your help!

Sorry I didn't make it word for word, but I think it's something like this,
sorry if I made mistakes XD

times have I gotten lost? -michi ni mayotta no darou
Every time, the one who extended his -sono tabi ni atatakai te wo

warm helping hand was you. - sashi nobete kureta no mo anata deshita.

*At the end of this long path, what will we think? - Bokutachi wa kono nagai tabiji no
Hate ni nani wo omou

Everyone is a traveler, wandering about in search of love. - Dare mo minna ai motome samayou.

Let's go together until we tire of it. -Tabibito nan darou,Tomo ni ikou akiru hodo ni.

atatakai..........warm/genial
sashinobete.....to hold out/reach out
kureta............gave (?)

hm, sorry, there's actually quite a few there isn't there. If anyone can help with these words I'd be relaly really grateful!!! :)

[EDIT:] I just tried to find out myself using an online dictionary (which used romaji interestingly enough) although some had a couple of meanings so I'm guessing I picked the right one, some i had no clue so left with a "?", and some I wasn;t sure of so have put what I though but also a "(?)".

can someone help me figure these out please?!?!

Thanks!

i think sashi is a form of this

jon_the_d 29th December 2007 11:49 AM

no sashinobete is a form of sasahinoberu. the two words are actually one! see my above post! I keep editing it.

jon_the_d 29th December 2007 12:35 PM

can someone please explain to me this line:

旅人なんだろう

what does なんだろう mean?

come to think of it, what does だろう mean too?

旅人 = traveller, I got that, what does 旅人なんだろう mean together?

Ayumi_lover 29th December 2007 12:43 PM

"~ darou" is a plain form of "~ deshou," and means "will probably."
