Introducing Shota Shimizu! -debut single out 02.20-

Shota Shimizu is an 18-year-old ex-SUGER member and current urban singer/songwriter. He will release his debut solo single, "HOME," on February 20th.

He has previously collaborated with Dohzi-T, on his "ONE LOVE" single, and Miliyah Kato, on the "Tribute To Celine Dion" album.

He has such a nice tone to his voice. I don't like a lot of male j-pop singers, because they tend to sound whiny and ugh, but Shota's voice is just so... smooth, haha.

Also, he appeared on TV Tokyo's "ryuuha-R" yesterday, and they showed clips from his performance of "Stand By Me" from Showtime at the Apollo, and it's now on YouTube.

^ I'm so glad you said that about his voice. I seriously can't find ANY male singers (apart from like, two or three) that I can stand because they just sound so blah to me. :(
