Not sure ayu's dancers would be the best source of hairstyles :P

Any particular in mind?

Draggi 30th December 2007 11:00 AM

I just don't want any of these ugly hairstyles...
at the moment my hair is mid-long and
so i want to try something different now...
and i can't find pictures of the dancers ^^

LOL how bout Shu-ya's latest hair? I also like the way he dyed it, maybe you can do that too, unless you're already blond, then you can do it reverse, mostly black with streaks of blond! XD You can just check out some of Ayu's latest PV, probably Marionette since he's seen clearly over there!

Not exactly an Ayu dancer, but I found this picture randomly online:

It's how I got my hair cut. To style it like that, you'd need mousse and hairspray.. I think. I'm still trying to figure out what products you'd need to get it like that.. perhaps a sculpting wax. -shrugs-

the angel song 31st December 2007 02:37 AM

^Yup definitely need some sculpting wax for the top part, for it to stay. And if you don't have naturally straight hair or want that silky asian hair, you boys/girls need to get a good ceramic straightener...it does wonders, trust me.

If you're going to style it...
Many Japanese guys use Gatsby Moving Rubber to style their hair.
I have it myself since the summer and find it much better than the usual Fructis.
There are different colours and each for a different style/use. (???)
If it's not available at your location, Fructis would be fine.

Usually when I used to spike up my hair (see Kanon from An Cafe)
or I'd style it normally,
I used a lot of hairspray, but I think it's not very good
because my hair would go down very easily.
Mousse wasn't very good for me either.
But it depends from person to person.

Sorry~ I can't get some sentences to come out right in English.

EDIT Yeah, ceramic straighteners are great~
If you can pick the temperature, it's better.
My hair isn't straight, it's wavy so I use those a lot.
Just make sure you don't keep it on your hair TOO much
or else it'll just be burnt and not silky...~
You can always try one of those "cream" to put on your hair before straightening.

averageone 31st December 2007 02:47 AM

I am educated.. thanks. xD

I have straight hair normally, but when it's at that length (the back part) it tends to wave because of me sleeping on it or my scarf or whatnot. So I do straighten it and yeah I have a ceramic straightener.. it is wonderful.

How much would the Moving Rubber cost? All these products I have to buy now kind of make me sad since all I had to do before was straighten my hair and I was all good. ~_~;

the angel song 31st December 2007 02:54 AM

Oh yes yes if you use ceramic straightener MUST PUT some sort of heat protection cream on, so you don't fry your hair. Best straighteners are sedu, solia, chi...

for people who are curious...some general tips to keep hair lookin' good! my hair is a poofy mess when it air dries, so if you want awesome soft shiny hair that's easy to manage, 1. blow dry!(a friend showed me it really does help make hair softer) 2. apply hair cream (I use chi silk infusion...great stuff!!) 3.section hair 4. straighten (I use solia at it's highest temp) For best effect have the straightener on highest temp. and run it through hair section 1 time and for no more than five sec....5. whip out the styling wax/mousse/etc. and have fun! (don't recommend gels...get flaky too easily)

averageone: you can get the gatsby moving rubber for good prices below $20 on ebay I believe...

ahaha I put so many edits in this thing...silly me.
