Best 5 things you love about Ayu
 

I scrolled through the past 11 pages and found that no one has talked about this! Whats truly the best five things you love about Ayu? No cheating, just your top 5!

In no order:

1. She puts on a wide smile 85% of the time when singing lives, except for her sad ballads or "darker" rock.

2. She dresses casually during her encores, sometimes a lil too casual like in A museum with that braids and weird jacket (tomboy!). It sorta neutralises her sexy image and makes me wanna cuddle her.

3. How she used to start her songs live on highhh pitch and still manages to reach the notes in chorus eg Seasons. The way she vibrates her voice (I really love it o.O) and also the way she sings powerfully well live like for "I am..."! (not anymore? We'll see in the coming tour!).

4. Her ever-changing image. Im never bored by her.

5. The way she always thanks her audience at the end of her lives. I love her bowing left right centre as well as her shouting to the audience without a mic! =)

1. Her music and lyrics... her depth, her voice, her emotion, her ALL :P

2. Her attitude towards her fans, her staff, and her work in general. The way she puts so much in and plays such a big part of HER career.

3. Her determination and faith as well as her sadness and weakness (because no one's perfect). I love the fact that she shows us she's a human just like the rest of us.

I love how her songs can lift me up and make me realize certain things.

4. The way she acknowledges her staff and her fans and how she always ends her concert in such a personal way. I love how she gets the audience involved :)

5. Her beauty and style. She's truly beautiful.

She's definitely an artist worthy of respect, mine at least. She's a superstar unlike no other who is sincere, smart, yet never overbearing.

1.The fact that she's a strong person. I really admire her for her strength and determination!
I mean she fell into some scandals, and there was even a time where Japan didn't really appreciate her-
but she was able to overcome all of that.

2. Her sense of fashion and beauty!

3. She can write amazing lyrics that actually has some depth. (Ex: Surreal, End of the World, DUTY, etc.)

4. Her independence, commitment, and determination.

5. Her love towards her fans and staff members.

01. Her uniqueness -- She is unlike any other artist I've seen. Her concerts are so elaborate; her style is always different; her music videos aren't just her dancing in front of men; and, of course, her lyrics are so -- I don't know -- beautiful? Inspirational? All of the above? :D

02. Her sincerity and acceptance to fame -- She's neither humble nor a gloater about the things she does. She's completely in the middle, she accepts her fame with smiles and honest "thank you's." As rikku said, "...the fact that she shows us she's a human just like the rest of us."

03. Her (mental) strength -- Ayu has gone through so many hard things in her life. First, her close and dear grandmother passed away on the recording day of her debut single. Second, her father walked out on her life. And all in one year, she lost her hearing, the love of her life, and a close friend. I'm not ashamed to say that I am proud of her! So many people would've given up by now, but she keeps on walking forward.

04. Her positive and hard-working attitude -- Some of this could go with her strength as I've mentioned above, but I admire the way she takes matters into her own hand, what with the tours and videos she creates.

05. Her personality -- She always seems so happy, high in spirits, determined, and sweet. (Honestly, I couldn't think of anything else; I feel like this fifth reason pretty much falls into all the other four. ^^)

1) She's really really funny....... She has me cracking up all the time

3) The way she yells out "thank you!" without the mic at the end of her concerts..... She as such a huge place in her heart for her fans
4)She works really hard..... even when things get silly or upsetting she works very well

4. Her individuality (as in she's different from most artists) and writes about other things besides love <---too cliche. This is one of the things that made me really like Ayu :luv2

5. How she's such a real person and stays true to herself and encourages her fans to do the same.

...Ya know, naming off just five things is hard cuz I love Ayu for countless reasons :yes

1.) Her Image and her talent: That's why I like her very much becuase she's a very rare artist who uses her talents to give attention and her image as an artist is very wholesome.

2.) Music style and Lyrics: Her lyrics are so deep, beautiful and meaningful to the songs which I rarely seen in some artists today and her music style is ever changing.

3.) She's a real person that she sings for every fan in the world.

4.) Her big commitment to her work and to us. :)

Lastly, 5.) Her wonderful pesonality to her co-workers and staffs and to us (fans of Ayu-chan).

1) i like ayu cos of her sincerity towards her fans. No fake smiles from her. She does her best to satisfy her fans.
2) i like the fact that music is ayu's life. we are basically revolving around ayu's life and this makes us fans special!!
3) her lyrics are truthful and she does not try to hide anything.
4) She tries her best to improve her performance everytime!!
5) She actually wants everything to be flawless! which makes her professional, yet cute. :D Just look at the documentary of Best of CDL.

oo oo yes. refreshing after all that "what u hate about ayu omg" thing...
honestly, 5 isn't enough... but u said no cheating... so i'll try my best to narrow it down:

- her goofiness, being able to laugh at herself, never seeming snobby or "i'm too good"
- how she writes her own lyrics. its close and personal and ever so much more sincere as a singer... unlike those who can do nothing but sing or attempt to co-write corny lyrics or lyrics that are just so shallow and dull
- her music is unlike others... its just something about the melodies that are so unique... and the arrangments are usually so creatively and passionately done
- she just doesn't seem to suck up to America as much as other Asian stars
- her compassionate nature, strength, and persaverance... she's amazing.

About time for this.

In no particular order...

1) Her ever changing music style. From rock songs to ballads to cutesy pop... Ayu belts everything perfectly. Her lyrics are inspirational and beautiful too. The best thing is... they are very natural are just about everyday things around us... that makes her lyrics even more perfect.

2) Her attitude towards... everything! Whether it's her fans, or her co-workers, or her dancers... she has that attitude towards them. The attitude of humility. She is never a haughty diva.

3) The way she visualizes everything - from songs, to PVs, to tours. Yes, everything that we hear and see about Ayu is like it's through her eyes!

4) Her tearing while performing songs. This shows that she wrote songs really close to her heart... it's very touching.

5) The way she shouts 'ARIGATOU GOZAIMAZ!!!' to the audience after every concert! It's so cute!

And just for fun...

6) Her dancers. C'mon Shu-Ya... Gomi...? I love them all!
