welcome to the third KAT-TUN thread!

-- KAT-TUN is an idol group under Johnny's Entertainment. they were formed back in 2001 as a temporary backdancing unit for Koichi Domoto of the KinKi Kids. however, the boys had gotten so popular, the unit remained. KAT-TUN made their music debut in March 2006 with the single "Real Face," which was written by Suga Shikao & composed by Matsumoto Tak of B'z. the boys also appear in j-dramas, as well as commercials and they have their very own TV show, cartoon KAT-TUN, which shows every Wednesday night. it is a talk show which features many celebrity guests, such as AI, MCU & KREVA from KICK THE CAN CREW, hyde & ken from L'Arc~en~Ciel, Ne-Yo, & Rihanna.

- unofficial leader of KAT-TUN. the group doesn't have an official leader, but Kame is usually the representative.
- he is the youngest of the group! (21)
- his last name translated into english is Turtle Pear. XD
- he is very mature for his age
- he was also in a temporary unit with Yamashita Tomohisa of NEWS called "Shuuji to Akira". their only single, "Seishun Amigo," has sold 1.6 million copies! it was used to promote their j-drama, Nobuta wo Produce.
- he is very dedicated to his work.

- with Kame, he is one of the most popular members.
- he is very interested in both English & Spanish languages.
- he studied abroad to study english for 6 months in Los Angeles, CA.
- he isn't featured on the "Bokura no Machi de" single.
- his mom gave birth to him when she was 14, or around that age!
- is best friends with YamaPi & Shirota Yuu (Kagurazaka from Hana Kimi)!

- he tells very lame jokes & he loves puns.
- he is the tallest member of the group. i believe around 5'11.
- he fights with Jin the most. XD
- he is a very traditional guy.

- the only KAT-TUN member that has gone to college!
- despite looking tough, he is a very friendly guy.

- he is the most dependable guy in KAT-TUN.

- was the only person Jin kept contact with on his hiatus.
- doesn't like being the "N" of KAT-TUN because he is always last! awww.

ayupi, from the previous thread you mentioned that there was one KK single that they didn't come first on the first day of release. really?? I didn't know that.

^ all KinKi Kids singles have debuted @ #1 weeklies! i was just saying Ayu broke their #1 album streak because RAINBOW's 2nd week beat out their G Album -24/7- for #1. :3

actually, i made a mistake. it's not G Album, but it was F Album. :laugh
the KinKi Kids album, "F Album" was the only KinKi Kids album that didn't reach #1 on their 1st week. it was Ayu who broke their album #1 streak. however, they still have the single #1 streak, with 26 consecutive #1 singles. it's a Guinness World Record.

it should sell as much as a single, lol. JE groups aren't album sellers. they rely more on their single sales. their last album only sold 350k. NEWS' last album sold less than "weeeek".

oh btw, i got my "LIPS" single today. :heart
