I think it means that the A BEST 2 series are selling cheaper & CDJapan are now clearing away stock from their site .

the same thing happened for HMV SG where both the Black & White are bundled up & are selling for the price of S$28.90 if I can remember correctly

I think that's mistaken. The original price is 4476 yen (or around US$44). The discounted price is 3133 yen (or around US$30). It's a big cut, actually.
