Duty CD case
 

is it normal that the Duty cd case hasn't printed the avex logo inside around the cd? I'm right now too lazy to take a picture, but you know for sure what I mean, since all avex cds have the print inside.

mine also hasn't the compact disc logo, but 4 (empty) squares around the cd.

it is from yesasia, japan version (I don't think they have any other versions anyway). so it is very likely an original pressing. I just want to make sure that this is normal with newer pressings.

Mm, well, you say it was from YesAsia? I doubt it's anything ZOMG BAD, and if it bothers you, then you could replace it with another avex album that you don't really care so much about. :D:D

Uhm, I've noticed that sometimes they do and sometimes they don't =S
My Duty one however, does.

yesasia has overseas versions. I think this could be one of them

manufactured by avex inc tokyo japan? uhm, yeah, right.

I've got 4 blank squares as well but it's still an original Japan version as it says avex trax Japan blah blah in all of the needed places (back cover, side, booklet, CD itself etc.) I just think they might do take the CD plastics themselves from hong kong? (if you order from yesasia like I did), The CD, booklet, covers are original japan version nontheless.

Overseas versions have Avex Trax Hong Kong on them.

How strange. My Duty album only has two blank squares (one in top right corner, one in bottom left corner).

And i bought it from YesAsia, too. and yeah, it's odd because i bought A Song for xx album from CDJapan, and that has a really different case - it's really thick.

^asfxx jp has different case to fit thicker booklet, not the default one

^ah that makes sense. Toshiba should've given HEART STATION a thicker cd case because the cover pops out a bit the booklet is so thick -_-

and i just checked MY STORY Classical, there's some form of first press on that too (according to the sticker). not sure what it is though, most likely the slipcase...

Mine has the avex logo, but in the right corner.

mine has the compact disc logo but the avex things in the booklet (it's from taiwan)
