Funny thing i found in the Mirrorcle World disc

i was using a software to rip the cd cos i wanted to transfer the songs to my laptop and my handphone...however, the file names that appeared are very weird

YURIA-01- ( MIX)
YURIA-02-BLUE SKY ( TRICKSTER MIX)
YURIA-03- (A BONEPC)
YURIA-04- ( MIX) karaoke
YURIA-05-BLUE SKY ( TRICKSTER MIX) karaoke
YURIA-06- (A BONEPC) karaoke

when i played the song on Winamp and view the file info, the year is listed as 2006...pretty weird...anyone can confirm this?

The freedb servers often mix up album/single data, haha. :dead2

~ayu-cake~ 10th April 2008 11:47 PM

Strange :s

Thanks for pointing that out o.O

Deneb 10th April 2008 11:51 PM

pommy48 11th April 2008 12:22 AM

weird....really weird @_@

Ani_C 11th April 2008 12:34 AM

:laugh on my GUILTY album it listed the tracklist for A Best I think, I had to re-tag it.

edit: W00t! End of the World Initiate xD

That is very odd...

ownsarai 11th April 2008 07:28 AM

Weird...that's never happened to me. Thanks for pointing it out though.

there is nothing weird about this... as fanmail said, freedb, gracenote always mixed up album/single recognition, especially for new releases when nobody haven't posted the correct tag information to the database. when you rip a CD, the cd itself usually won't contain the tag with it. if freedb/gracenote (i forgot winamp retrieves information from which database) detects multiple database that is relevant to your cd, it wil pop up with the selection menu for you to choose.

^ Thanks alot for the info! :)

initially was thinking that ayu is leaving some surprise for us in the disc as hidden songs...lol

ayuMIV 11th April 2008 10:13 AM

Yep, a very odd thing!
That's why I never use tag auto filling when I rip discs. The best way (of course not the quickest one) is to type information manually.

actually my guilty (os-singapore version) (WITH THE WARNER LABEL ON IT T^T)

has the tracks called

track 1, track 2, blah blah

>_>

che0173 13th April 2008 12:10 AM

oh wow serious?
that is seriously weird
wen i played my mirrorcle world disc on windows media player it just had track 1 2 3 4 5
etc
normally it'd be like...the track's name
not the number
either Avex hasn't put it up on the "collection" or w/e (now im just guessing things)
or they didn't name the tracks? =S

Yoake 13th April 2008 11:10 AM

Lanz16 13th April 2008 12:01 PM

lol...after i ripped the songs and played them on Winamp, the song name becomes Yuria followed by a bunch of squares...guess Winamp couldn't read the characters at all...lol

aqua_crystal 13th April 2008 03:02 PM

Lol. Maybe its a code: What could YURIA mean?
