This week perfume achieved the #1 position on Oricon weekly chart and by doing this not only they broke a personal record since GAME is their first #1 album ever (they've released 2 albums so far) but they've also just broke another record on the whole Japanese music scene.

Perfume is now the first electro-pop group to have a #1 album in weekly charts in 25 years (24 years and 11 months) this honor used to belong to the band Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO).

And I hope they re-release the out of print singles (fan service...), because now Perfume really wrote their names on the japanese music scene.

Japan has been dominated by boy bands recently for too long, girls need to step up their game!

After just hearing a little bit of their stuff for the first time, I'm really liking their sound and considering buying their latest Album.

I'm really impressed with the success this album is experiencing. I'm glad for them because they're a really original group and glad to see them be so popular in the mainstream.
