well...this has been bothering me for some time already...but the background voice sounds like

What, the guy's voice in the background? Yeah, it's kinda weird XD
What is he saying? I aways hear "Pull it out, pull it out"

I thought it was supposed to be the sound of waves. ^^; Though it could be some phrase that was distorted to sound like waves.

I never paid attention to it, but now that you mention it, it does sound a bit odd. Though I don't think it was intended to sound like anything...

I don't think its actual words, to be quite honest. As someone said earlier, I think its just meant to be sound waves.

That being said, I've always heard "ow ow ow ow" and thought it was very funny :yes

I don't think it's real dialogue, either. I've never really heard any words, although I was aware of the "noise" in the song.

Gosh, I should listen to "Far away" again. Just to hear it again in general, not for the mysterious voice/sound. ^^

I always thought it was "Down, down, falling down."
