I think it was after she received the same award for INSPIRE (or was it Moments) , she told the audience she doesn't want to receive anymore awards in a bid way to give a chance to other artistes

And tbh, ur discriminating. =/ Americans are entitled to winning that award as much as the Japanese are. Besides, MTV was started in america by an American.
