Which Utada Hikaru CD's don't include OBI's (If Any)
 

Hello All!

Just wondering if any Utada Hikaru CD's do NOT include an OBI strip, there's this used CD shop in Sydney which are selling a lot of Utada Hikaru Japan version CD's and was just wondering before I start splurging which do not have OBI's, just in case ^ ^

I think all of them do... except I'm not sure about First Love or any of its singles.

I don't know about the English ones but I would imagine all her Japanese CDs have OBIs...

^ Yeah First Love does, but I know for a fact now that Precious doesn't... I'm pretty sure her English CD's have OBI's too. I saw Distance (the album) and... Addicted to You without OBI's but I'm pretty sure that's only because they were second hand, correct me if I'm wrong!

EDIT: Also!!! Which of her singles come in those smaller CD cases, Jewel cases I think they're called...? Because I think some singles like Keep Tryin' come in those smaller cases but others like Flavor of Life and CYKAS come in the normal sized cases

Exodus didn't come with one I think...
Distance definitely has one...I don't have Addicted To You but probably

umm...I didn't know any of hers did come in smaller cases XD
All the ones I have are in the normal ones...

Really? I thought.. Uhm Beautiful World / Kiss & Cry came in the smaller case and so did Keep Tryin'? Also with 'Be My Last' I saw it in the shop just as a slip case thing, is that the standard release version or... Promotional? Or anything?

Hmmm, I checked my copies of Beautiful World / Kiss & Cry and Keep Tryin' and they both have the regular release
Well for Be My Last, there is the CD Only version and then a DVD version so maybe t's one of those. I don't have that single so I can't tell you for sure :(

Okay thanks for clearing that up, I must be going crazy ^ ^ Really? I thought PoL was Hikki's first CD+DVD release, well I've been wrong on all occasions before so I guess you can't really trust my judgment but anyway!

Gah! I just realised I'm missing my Ultra Blue OBI! ARGHAGRHAGHRAGHH!!~ :irked

^now that sucks. I love that obi. :(

About Exodus, the American release doesn't come with the obi. :shrug just thought I'd put that out there.

And to think, I almost threw my OBI for Distance out cause I didn't know anything about them but figured I might as well keep it. Good thing :)

All Japanese releases come with Obis. Even western CDs released in Japan.

Japanese cds released outside of Japan don't include OBIs.

Hope that clears that up for you~

But remember!

Official releases may not have Obi's...but you can still find like shops like Book-off that will have the releases with the obi's.

So dont be discouraged if they dont have obis...if you search you may still be able to find them.
