Here is a first official thread for new avex band Girl Next Door!

Chisa was originally a dancer based in Kansai area. Avex noticed her absolute performance and presence, and encouraged her to take lessons in Tokyo. CHISA entered Avex Artist Academy on a scholarship, and there met Suzuki Daisuke (key) who was a writer mainly contributing tracks for other artists. After recording several demo tracks, the two caught the attention of Avex CEO, MAX Matsuura. Adding Inoue Yuji as guitar, their debut is fixed on September, 2008.

They had several promotions in Japan, mainly in diaries and magazines. The PV for their first single, Guuzen no Kakuritsu, was aired 1 month and half before their debut.

- GIRL NEXT DOOR's Official Site had more than 2,000,000 of visits before their debut (2008.05.28~2008.07).
- Daisuke Suzuki (key) is a former member of avex's unit day after tomorrow.
- Yuji Inoue started to play guitar when he was 14 and became a professional as a support guitarrist when he was 22.
- Guuzen no Kakuritsu PV was recorded in Los Angelas and Las Vegas

i love guuzen no kakuritsu :love really good band, so far.

I really liked the song when I first heard it. I'll follow up on this band for sure :yes Kind of sounds like a Nami Tamaki song, IMO.

I really liked this debut song so I'm excited about this band. What's funny is that when I was watching the PV I thought "...this sounds like day after tomorrow!" and then read their wiki info. :laugh

I saw Guuzen no Kakuritsu PV, it was pretty good. shes got a great voice and is really pretty, but i think she needs to work a bit more on complicated dance moves apart from that she is great :love

I wish the CD+DVD had the music video that was already released on it =/... I think I'm gonna order the CD-only version =D

you can byu only a CD or CD + DVD and you will have a pb + sc
