If you had to give up ONE item...
 

Inspired by the "Which Ayu cd/dvd is the MOST precious to you?" thread, I decided to make this one.

I know it would be very hard for some people and maybe a little easy for others, but let's think: If you had to give up ONE item -- CD, DVD, poster, calendar, anything -- what would it be?

For me, I think I would give up my A BALLADS CD. It's not a real studio album and therefore a lot of songs I've already heard before, even with the new songs and new remixes:

RAINBOW -- A beautiful song, but even though it's new for this album and everything I never found it as a song in my top favorites. Besides, I'd be able to find it on YouTube later. :P

appears remix -- Not too different from the original mix for me, and I actually like the original better anyway.

YOU remix -- A very sweet remix of the classic song, and it makes me like "YOU" even more. However, just like "RAINBOW," this song isn't in my top favorites although I love it. :)

TO BE, SEASONS remixes -- They just don't sound that much different from the original. Okay, yes, they are "refreshed" or whatever, but whatever happened to the classics? (Ah, yes, avex said the three most precious words for them: sales, money, and higher salaries! lol)

M remix -- A very beautiful mix of a great song, and I think I like it better than the original. However, "M" isn't one of my favorite songs in the first place. So, I don't really care. :P

A Song for XX remix -- A spectacular remix of a wonderful song, but sometimes I enjoy the classic. Even though Ayu's voice is less "matured" and more controlled, sometimes it sounds better to me than the emotional voice (although I do like it).

Who... remix -- This is probably the only song I would truly miss from the album. I guess I'd just have to live without it... *tear* lol Just kidding. Again, a trip to YouTube. XD

卒業写真 -- A very beautiful song and Ayu does a great job in it, but it's not one of Ayu's original songs, so it's not that special to me.

...besides, my A BALLADS CD is a bootleg. :laugh Just kidding, that's really not why I would give it up! ;)

So, once again, if you had to give up ONE item -- CD, DVD, poster, calendar, anything -- what would it be?

I'd probably give up my forgiveness single. It was such a waste of money. -______-

I would probably give up Duty because it is the chinese version

Such a hard choice... If I had to chose though, I think I'll say my Secret album. I love it to pieces, it's one of my favorites, but everything else is much more important to me

My A Clips Vol 2 VCD because it's a white elephant in my room currently

I'm considering to sell it away in the future cos at that time when I bought it 2nd hand , it was to keep but now I'm more than willing to let go of it

Such a waste of money.
Everything about is horrid.

Seasons single. Seasons is a pretty boring song and other than To Be Acoustic and the ever free remix, it's terrible.

Posters from Secret, A BEST White and Black. Those 3 are still rolled up in my book cupboard after these few years. Never really a poster person and it was very awkward walking around the mall after buying those albums. In fact, i rejected the Guilty poster which made the salesman look at me really strangely.

^ especially the GUILTY poster . I sold it away when I got my album at HMV .

I rather Warner print & leave the photobook intact as I can make do without a poster anytime :eviltongu

Ditto. It's not a horrible song but I didn't get the bang for my buck like I always do with Ayu products.

Um, probably my SURREAL or Ayu-mi-x #something because I hardly touch either and I'm not really a fan of the remixes. :/ Well, I only paid 200yen for them so I suppose it's not too bad.

I love albums and concert dvds so I won't give up any of them =)
I keep my posters nicely (even though I really want to put them up) to prevent dust on them.
I also love to keep photobooks espeically!

hahaz. so I guess I'll give up the single STEP you/is this LOVE? CD ver. in which I bought at an impulse. I don't really like the song STEP you to be frank. and also the cover.

I should have bought singles that I like most! *sobs*

umm...A BEST -BLACK- poster....buying it, then regretting it...looks good for a CD cover...but for eyes to stare at you on the wall @_@

I am fine giving up any of my single cds. not a big fan of instrumental music and all the songs are compiled in albums.

luckily both my A BEST 2 posters are pasted on the corridor's walls of my house so that's not so bad

lol, i'm thinking of taping it like outside the apartment door...to get rid of those pesky sale people, but if i had more ayu things, i would probably give up a single, posters will become extinct one days...in the world of online shopping

I would give up my complete clip box coz its overseas vcd version and get the japan dvd version. :D
