J-Pop songs in other languages apart from Japanese and English!
Yeah, so the question for this thread is: Do you know any J-Pop songs in which the singer sings in other languages apart from Japanese or English?:)
I remember the chorus for I Love You by Namie Amuro, on which she said "Jet aime (french), I love you, Yo te quiero (spanish) yes I do..." She had very good pronunciation in spanish LOL And also in Boku wa Kuma by Utada Hikaru she said something like Bonjour, my nameīs Kuma in french right? |
In "Boku wa Kuma" it was, "Bonjour, je m'appelle Kuma. Comment ca va?"
(Hi, my name is Kuma. How are you? At the start of Namie's "Do Me More", she whispers "Un, Deux, Trois" (One, Two, Three) in French. EDIT Remembered a few! KAT-TUN's "Le ciel", they have some lyrics in French too~ And also "BUTTERFLY" had some Spanish in it. |
Bennie K "Matador Love" they speak Spanish.

hitomi sings a song in French..I forgot the name of the song though. Uhh at the start of Mini moni Jankenpyon! this guy counts to four in Spanish.
Maki Goto also has a few songs she sung in Korean. スッピンと涙 (Suppin to Namida) and 抱いてよ！PLEASE GO ON have Korean versions. |

In "so what?" by w-inds., they sing a few words in Spanish. Also in "ai no bakudan" (by B'z), thesingerguy says "un, deux, trois".

bird's song BATACUDA is sung entirely in Portuguese. It's really good. She has some more songs in Portuguese and Spanish too I've believe. :)

Akiko Shikata sings in Italian and French. I think she's sung in Latin too, though I'm not certain.

It's not a lyric in a song but mink has an album named SHALOM which means peace/hello in Hebrew.
