is doing GLOBAL AUDTIONS not only for Asia, but also for U.S. & CANADA

I see many replies like this around here and I wonder if people in the west get punished for skipping school or something?
It's not the end of the world if you skip a day, especially to go for an audition lol.

although you have to know japanese but they accept you even if you don't. there's a special website for it

Damn these auditions. I'm not asian and I want to go (not really), dammit.

The only thing is Avex accepts people from Asia/Japan... That's kinda odd, since the locals already have their own auditions, don't they? Meaning if you go for the international audition you're also gonna be competing against Asians/Japanese, which kinda leaves you out, becouse obviously they're gonna be better at singing their native languages and 'looking Asian', lol... The should just make it 'for foreginers only'.

I doubt any non-Asian person will get through :/

And there was this US/World SM audition last year, right? Anyone heard a word about the results?...

We write 'excuse notes' here, it used to be a pain in the bottom, but once you're over 18, you can technically write them yourself :P And even when I wasn't, I would fake my dad's writing and signature XD

Not much is known about results simply because the people who get in usually do not talk about it (as most Krn companies do not want them to).

SM isn't discriminating. They ask for asians, but actually, they let anyone audition (I've seen non-asians audition). It's just that they are looking for asians because China seems to be the next biggest market over there.

yeah but they still accept you (AVEX) if you don't speak japanese so that is really great :D
