Well, it's better to seperate the two, right? Since one is Korean, and the other is Japanese?

I wouldn't have read the Korean one, to be honest, since I'm not interested.

That's amazing. I'm really tempted to enter but the only thing holdng me back really is the fact that I'm not quite fluent yet in Japanese...plus I'd want to sing my own song and lol I don't have one in Japanese yet. :laugh

I have the ad for it. It looks like they used a photo of Ayu in the advertisement for the woman in the foreground.

Apparently, they're recruiting dancers, singers, actors/actresses, models, and composers.

The ad's pretty nifty. It has Ayu's face on one of the people and an interview-thing. Came from Japan UP! My local magazine for Japanese food info and etc.

HAHA I actually auditioned for the SM Entertainment thing. It was good fun.

This is really interesting! I wonder if they're planning to cross-feature some artists a la what they're trying to do with BoA here in the States (and what happened with Diru and a few other Japanese rock bands also here in the US).

Wow! I went to Avex World Audition on the first audition date (13th September) and when I watched the news before (it was August) they didnt have any website about STAR SEARCH who will make auditions in America O.O

About SM, I heard its only for korean or half korean is that right?

It'd be pretty cool to audition, make it past a few rounds, and actually meet Ayumi Hamasaki via audition. That sometimes happens in these situations, right?

It happens in the final..some artist will announce the winners

nope SM you have to be asian. in general. japanese, chinese, korean, vietnamiese, etc.
as long as you are asian you can participiate

It's so, but I live in Japan so I went to AVEX WORLD AUDITION not STAR SEARCH...if u dont live in Japan you need to send demo

When they say "self introduction" can you say it in English before you perform in Japanese?

You can, but I think you should do a basic one in Japanese too.

(Place, try to include city and country) kara (Last, First) desu. (Age)-sai desu.

interesting..is anyone gonna go for audition?

I can't physically go to an audition cuz the soonest I'll be in Tokyo is December but I'm pretty sure I'll send in a demo or something.
I would LOVE to be a J-Pop singer. >.<
