ViVi Magazine
I wan't sure where to put this... it's a question and it has Ayu in it so... here it goes:
Where can I buy a single ViVi magazine issue online and not have to pay a subscription fee? I only really buy Vivi when Ayu (Kumi or Namie) are on the cover! And the place I use to get it from, Fujisan.com, recent changed their orders to subscription only and I was REALLY pissed off because I wanted the October 2008 Issue and that's it! ><; I saw some on Ebay for a real steep price... so I was wondering, is there any other place that offers ViVi? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! :) |
Check ebay or auctions or even fan communities on LJ. People sell them there sometimes too.
I got a couple magazines with Ayumi on the cover a year or two ago. Sometimes people will advertise in her fan communities or maybe garagesalejapan on livejournal with magazines they\'re selling. If you\'re lucky you\'ll find some of Ayumi\'s issues or whoever else you want. You have to look through a lot because there\'s a lot of jrock stuff but there\'s also quite a bit of jpop stuff too. |
Royal Quartz still has it for sale:
http://www.royalquartz.com/index.php...roducts_id=586 I bought mine from there |
i believe if you want the vivi chinese version, you can also order from there
http://www.ixinwei.com:9090/ but yeah ebay is great~ |
For those of you who live in the U.S. (or other parts of the world where it may be available) My friend told me about this amazing book store called Kinokuniya that sells recent issues of ViVi along with other hard to find magazines/mangas/books :D
Thank you for all your help! 本当に感謝しています! |
ViVi's are also available on yesasia.com...and if u do get them from yes asia..remember to use the AHS link!
|
Yesasia? Really? I looked but I didn't find anything <_<;;; I'll check again
|
Kinokuniya is good but the prices fluctuate based on whether they were air mailed or something else. I remember getting one issue for more than another because of that (cause I asked). You can call and ask and they can even mail it out to you and that's just regular US mail cost (I think it still is)
