Explain "Ourselves" & "Greatful Days".

Sorry.....I don't understand them. There's always a connection between the music video and the lyrics, and in this case, I cannot understand "Ourselves" and "Greatful Days".

All I know is that in "Greatful Days", the dancing/partying is supposed to portray all the fun times of the ordinary days, but what was that about the robber breaking into the house? What was that about when she tossed the book as the robber on the bike crashed through the Japanese rice screen? What was that about the partiers running past Ayu as she was slowly turning back to see where they were going? Why did Ayu start spraying that (champagne?) at the partiers?

In "Ourselves" I'm completely lost. I've heard that this song is about a sign of maturity for Ayu, but it's weird. Why are those "Ayu-masked" people destroying her car? Why is Ayu dressed in that weird Gothic black costume dancing in between those walls? Why are those two children spinning around together on that platform? Why does it show little windows with Ayu's albums? Why are the doctors/scientists and "Ayu-masked" people grafiting and destroying her image in music? Why is it that in the ending, everything rewinds back to Ayu in her car, but when she turns around, those freaky "Ayu-masked" people are staring right at her?

I know I have a lot of questions;well, I don't really understand them. "Hanabi~episodeII~" is easy to understand, but "Ourselves" and "Greatful Days" confuse me.....

Greatful days

Ayu is bored. She has nothing to do....she only has a book with herself to read. So she starts thinking....and imagine a party!!!!! Something that would be anything but boring! A party with friends and lots of people, where she can forget the problems and have fun!!! it's all about feeling hyper, having bursts of adrenalin. The guy breaking glasses represents that! In japan there are houses where you pay just to break the things...it's considered a therapy for getting free of stress which works. The crocodile means adventure and danger, which also represents adrenalin. The guy on the motorcycle is also getting excitement from the danger/fun he's facing. It's all about having the feeling of freedom to do anything, to feel hyper and to party. To get free from boredom.

For ourselves I'll have to read the lyrics :/

That explains it all for "Greatful Days". Thanks! Now for "Ourselves"....

Well without reading the lyrics I have 3 interpretations for ourselves that are a bit simillar:

1 - Ayu is having a normal day in her life. The PV focus in a terror theme. Ayu is surrounded by Ayu wannabes, people who want to take the place from ayu and who hate her. Ayu bashers. They do everything to destroy her image either by ripping posters, playing with her face, torturing her, etc. (Ayu has been getting bad comments from some people in the chinese media like Alan Tam so the PV would be quite like a reply for all the bashing she's been facing)

2 - It's almost the same but those people aren't bashers. They're in fact twisted fans! They love ayu SOOOOO much they want to be exactly like her. That love is so disturbed it turns into crazy passion. They follow her everywhere, they don't let her have a normal life. They can't distinguish the difference between love and hate (Remember John lennon? he was killed by a fan ! :eek). The fact that made me think that is because they study Ayu they want to know everything about her. One guy kisses her poster with so much twisted passion, like he was her lover or something and like the poster was the real person.

3 - the same but they're all Papparazzi hahahaha:laugh :roflmao :laugh

Will we ever know which one is right? I think #1 sounds most real, but then I'm Chinese and I'll feel bad.

No, no, no.......Ayu was bashed by some people from chinese media. I'm not saying that chinese people did it (I even wrote some - those people are surely a few of them). It could be bashers from the media from my country, it could be from the media from USA, it could be from the media from Spain.....bashers are everywhere in the world. Her response was to the bashers. She has bashers in japan as well, some crazy magazines that talks bad about her so chinese people have nothing to do with it. In fact a lot of chinese ppl loves Ayu and I'm sure she loves all of her fans! ;)

Wow...I did think Greatful Days made sence. But now with the crocodile (alligator?) and the guy smashing things it makes more sence. Thank you!
