Hey Guys I have a question...

Why goes Ayu not to the Japan Music Awards or so ..?

All Artist goes to there Kumi, Namie ....

Why not Ayu ? Is anything happen in 2004 or so

i think she said she wanted it to be fair to the other artists since she wins them all the time?

She refused to get the award in 2004 because of all that trouble with avex at that time. She said if she gets that awrd she wants it because her song is good... not because of the attention that was coused because of the romours. Ken Hirai also refused. So they both got disqualified from this award for lifetime.

She knew what she was getting into.

She doesn't need the award anyway.

this shows that ayu makes music not for the awards.. but for her interest in music..

That is crazy, but, I can see why she would refuse it.

She got disqualified for life? I herd she wouldn't participate in awards anymore but I didn't know she got disqualified.

What song did she do in 2004 when she refused? If it's no way to say, I remember she still sang no way to say as a winning song.

Hmmm, I think it was during the problem within Avex? Between Max Matsuura and the executive guy who later resigned.
