For people going to Arena Tour 2009

Last year someone started a thread for people going to asia tour 2008 to be able to get in contact with each other to meet up at one of the concerts. I don't see a thread for 2009 yet, so I'll start it ;) (maybe some admin could make this thread sticky, so it gets some attention for others who are going, this was also done last year)

For more information about getting tickets, you can see it here in the original tutorial thread here and here.
And here for the concert dates for this year.
But you can of course ask questions here as well about going to this years tour.

As for me, I will be going to one of the two concerts in Yokohama Arena on May 9th or 10th. (I'm only going to one because Perfume have 2 concerts in Yoyogi on the same 2 days ;p) I'll be going with a friend who I've met at a concert last year. So if there are others going on one of those two days, we can meet up :)

I've been to 2 concerts at Yokohama Arena in 2007 and met up with a few people there and it's fun to talk with other fans about ayu and the concert and do a few things together. And last year I went to one concert in Yoyogi and met some people there as well.

I'm going to the Yokohama concert on the 10th May. It would be great if we could meet up, if you guys decide to go on this date too :)

crea_spain 26th January 2009 01:55 AM

I'm going to the Saitama Super Arena concerts on April 11th and April 12th :) Also I hope can to go to see her concert at Osaka-jo Hall on April 22th as I'll stay in Osaka on this date.

It would be COOL if could meet there with other Ayu fans from AHS, if you're going to attend any of these concerts just let me know (I'm from Spain) ^^

I'll be going to the June 21 show @ Yoyogi. I also went to the final Japan show last year (June 29 @ Yoyogi), so it'll be fun to go to another final show. =)

How are you all getting your tickets? I have a friend in Japan who will be getting me tickets through the general sale (which, for the June 21 show, those tickets go on general sale on April 15).

crea_spain 26th January 2009 04:38 AM

^ I've got Osaka-jo Hall concert ticket thanks to my Japanese friend (she won bid in yahoo auctions "right to purchase" FC ticket)

zallow 26th January 2009 06:32 AM

Hopefully i can get tickets for the April 11 or 12 in Saitama. I'll be in Tokyo for sure on those 2 dates (april 6th to 14th actually), but i hope there's gonna be tickets left when i head there. It'd be cool to meet up with some people.

Make sure you guys uh...make a big "AYUMI HAMASAKI SEKAI" sign to represent the rest of us who couldn't go haha.

I actually have a sign like that 2 years ago :D
I made it the first time, but it was just a little one for other AHS people to find us outside the concert hall, not really for in the arena during the concert :p

I'm not sure yet, maybe from yahoo auctions, maybe from the reseller shops. Depends...

Well, I got a ticket through A-Ticket but the my middelman will receive the ticket at the end of April. If I got a bad seat, then I'm buying another ticket at at a reseller shop when I arrive in Tokyo.

lol I was thinking of making a sign, anyway... but not of AHS. =P Maybe one saying I'm from America...? Eh, it depends on how close I am. If I know she won't be able to see me very well, I probably won't make a sign. Haha.

I'll be attending them in Saitama too and would like the opportunity to spend a few minutes with you before of the concert, it would be cool ^^

AHS members meeting around the World :D

I sent you a PM.

You can get them through:

*Yahoo auctions Japan
*friends in Japan
*ticket reseller stores in Japan (around one week before of the concert)
*scalpers close to the Arena (day of the concert)

i asked my japanese teacher who will be going back to Japan to get the tickets for me. I showed her the pamphlet regarding TA ballot.

She said that she is unable to help me because that is specially for fan club.

anyway, are the tickets for public sales already?

crea_spain 27th January 2009 12:12 PM

^ my japanese friend told me that general tickets for Osaka-jo Hall concerts in April will go on sale from March 29th

It depends on the concert you're going to. For the June 20/21 concerts, tickets go on general sale April 15, which is when my friend is getting tickets. You'll have to check around to see when the different general sales start.

chibishun 29th January 2009 05:05 PM

does anyone know if TA tickets always warrant great seats?
I just browsed some auctions and looked like the fc members haven`t got their tickets yet, only the lottery confirmations.

Ah! Hatix!
Remember everybody about the Reseller store located near the Ueno Station. It is pretty big. For the second time we went to Arena Tour 2007@Yokohama Arena, I bought the tickets there. If you need a map, let me know.

I would really really appreciate it, if you could provide a map to this reseller store. :yes I just found out that I didn't get a ticket from the official Avex lottery and therefore will be buying one from a reseller. And since I'm staying in Asakusa, going to a ticket shop in Ueno would be great.

Could you tell me what seats did you get and how much did you pay for them?

Hatix 30th January 2009 07:43 PM

The Ueno reseller shop is not difficult to find, but isn't there a map in the original tutorial thread? (to which I put links in my first post). If not, I'll make a map, no problem.

Well, how much and what seats. I've learned that you can't put a number on it. It all depends... But goot seats will be at least 15k+ yen. Best seats that are somewhat affordable is block B (where we sat), block C is also good. I think there are block A-E, and 3 wide (B1-3). If Ayu's stage is again with the center "catwalk" and round thing in the middle, then A2 and B2 do not exist, meaning B1 and B3 are on the side of the round thing, and C2 is in front of it.

But remember: the arena seats in Yokohama are called center seats, marked as センター, while the seats on the side are called arena seats in Yokohama (it's confusing, i know, as the center seats in Yoyogi are called arena seats...).

I'll arrive in Tokyo on April 27th, and will most likely buy my tickets that day. (although there is a small possibility I'll get some through yahoo auctions, if I find a quicker 3rd party bidding service)
