　歌姫と、世界の人気漫画家がガッチリと手を組んだ。新曲「Ｒｕｌｅ」が、３月１３日の日本から全世界で順次公開される「ＤＲＡＧＯＮＢＡＬＬ　ＥＶＯＬＵＴＩＯＮ」の全世界テーマソングに決定。その縁から鳥山氏に今回の企画のオファーを出し、快諾された。

　公開されたピクチャーレーベルは、浜崎がオレンジの道着に身を包んだ姿で、胸には亀仙人一門のシンボルマークも。鳥山氏がアーティストの作品に参加したのが初めてならば、実在の人物を描いた似顔絵が商品化されるのも初という。

　多忙なスケジュールの合間を縫って作品を手がけた鳥山氏は、「実は、似顔絵はすごく苦手でシンドイ作業なんです。特に浜崎さんのようなシュッとした女性はホントに難しく、お引き受けしたことを一瞬後悔しました。ファンの多い方ですから、似てない！なんて怒られないか心配です」と控えめなコメント。

　一方の浜崎は同作のアニメＤＶＤを全巻持っているほどの鳥山マニア。「とてもカッコよく描いていただき、しかも、悟空が着ている道着まで着せていただいたりと、本当に感激しています」と大喜びし、「『ドラゴンボール』ファンにも、私の楽曲やミュージック・ビデオを楽しんでもらえるとうれしいです」とアピールした。

　音楽界の“天下一武道会”を制した浜崎が、新たな宝物を手にした。

Wow! I'm happy that this single seems to be completely focused on creating Dragonball image. Her style is similar to Akira Toriyama's designs. It's very very cool. I wonder why she had to go to Hawaii to shoot these photos though... I'm kinda confused.
