Curtain call PV

ok this PV at first to me was like meh... but then when i look at it again, i mean, it is simple as it is, is really not!

the whole PV was one shot, thats amazing already.

on top of that it has zoom in and out effect and the last few secs, the camera were fading in the middle of the air. i mean how can they do that!!!

any clue???

i wonder if the camera guy was actually in a helicopter filming from above the whole time, zooming in and out!

anyway it is just my thought...

and I love this PV a lot!

yeah...i think the PV looks right when i watched it in HQ version...
i think she wants to show us that behind all of her success there is many behind the scene worker, a director, a stylist, a bodyguard, etc...
she wants to say thank you to all of them...

i don't think they use helicopter. maybe they used something else

Agree! I really LOVE it!:luv2 Can't wait to get my album & watch it in DVD quality.
People are definitely complaining too much about it, like about NEXT LEVEL.

Max_ZZZ 24th March 2009 09:51 PM

ok well... it is a bit simple LOL

but honestly what i liked about it

was the four seasons thing i saw,

falling leaves, rain, snow, fireworks...

and it's all happening to here at the same timew

like you know that thing people use where time goes by so fast?
thats what i got

waterballoon 25th March 2009 05:40 PM

My favorite was when the guy opened the umbrella and shielded her... gosh that part made me feel really touched.

~*Cotton_Berry*~ 25th March 2009 07:15 PM

i dunno why, i just dont really like the pv, dun feel it

Chibi_Venus 25th March 2009 08:39 PM

I really love this PV. It's amazing how things like her videos made in one shot can give off the most feeling. :)

KuroixShiroi_Namida 25th March 2009 08:57 PM

I think this is one of my all time favourite PV's. I just like the way they did it. It's so beautiful along with the song!

Aozora 25th March 2009 09:29 PM

I think there's a lot of symbolism in this PV. But it's really simple obvious symbolism. Had this been a PV among really good PVs I would have loved it like how I love BLUE BIRD despite it's simplicity. However, the fact that out of the three new PVs, none really had a story behind it, kind of makes it understandable why people would consider it boring.

I actually liked it (I find the song incredibly boring) but out of all the PVs of NEXT LEVEL, it's one of my favorites. I like her more story-like PVs though (momentum, part of Me, Together When...).

I'm generally a big fan of one-shots, and this is a very neat one. Considering Ayumi's recent PVs haven't been outstanding, this one makes up :)

alternarist 26th March 2009 08:10 AM

Curtain call PV is amazing!! i love the simplicity of this PV.

Dokiyo 26th March 2009 08:26 AM

I, also, had noticed the whole one-shot filming ~ i was shocked because i kept thinking.....if she messed up, theyd have to film the whole pv over again. That's probably why the whole song altogether was shorter than those which are usually used for promotional videos. I love this song soo much though~ and i think when her hair is pulled back like that, it makes her look more her age?? Like, it doesn't seem like she's trying to keep the truth from shining through~ although......in her interview with CNN, she did state that she never wanted to get old. She just wanted to stay a child forever.....so .....who knows what will happen. But overall, *back to subject*, i really do love this pv and the song. Im kind of disappointed though that there haven't been more ballads lately.............

C+R+E+AYUMI 26th March 2009 09:38 AM

1st: she is amazing in that PV
2nd: the Pv is really simple but it fits a lot with the meaning and deep of this song.

One of her best to me.

Emperatriz Ayumi 26th March 2009 09:50 AM

The PV is great and song is very very very beautiful!!!

In the making you can notice that she was going to wear a dress that later became the one she is wearing in the PV... very simply...

freedreamer 26th March 2009 10:05 AM

^YEA EXACTLY!!! i was thinking...WAS Curtain call actually a morning PV? or were they just rehearsing?...TAT dress is sooo beautiful seriously but she looked so awkward walking in it

mike623 26th March 2009 10:35 AM

yay finally the making of answered my question here!

oh I just love how she decided to cut all that mermaid tail, and turned that dress to a simple black dress. fits much better!

Ayu looks sad in the making of though... she was probably tired... poor girl

chloeM 26th March 2009 10:46 AM

i like it to be simple...
