Question about Next Level concert ticket
 

Hello everyone!

I'm going to Japan, Tokyo, in may and I'm planning to see Ayu's concert in Yokohama 9th of may. A friend of mine lives in Japan and he bought me two tickets for the concert on Yahoo Auctions.

Now my friend is telling me that the tickets he bought have the sellers and his wife´s name on the tickets. My friend thinks the man he bought the tickets from is a member of Team Ayu.

So, my question is if I can go on the concert with this ticket, since it's no my name on it? I mean, will the people on the concert ask for some kind of ID?

I remember that an other artist sold "personal tickets" so the tickets couldn't be sold to e.g. reseller-shops.

They never checked my ID for her concerts. I think it's just to make it more personalized, but I never purchased TeamAyu tickets.

It really depends. I mean they wouldn't even need to see your ID to know that you clearly aren't that person. However, they've never really looked much at my ticket when I go in, however I've never used a Team Ayu ticket. If anything though, the person who sold the ticket would likely be the one to get in trouble, not you. (they are not supposed to sell their tickets)

There was a message for Gackt's last tour posted though that anyone who had a ticket with a name written on it that did not match their own could be denied entry into the concert.

Oh no, so this means there´s a small risk that we´ll have problems with the tickets? :(

Since me and my boyfriend are "typical scandinavians" and the names on the tickets are japanese they probably understand that we are not japanese...

I really hope they don't look carefully on the tickets...

Yeah, there is a chance. But like I said, i don't know if they diligently check team ayu tickets or not. Also, you being foreigners could work to your advantage because 1. usually Japanese try to avoid any kind of conflict with foreigners and 2. they hopefully would realize that because you are foreign, this is the only way you could get a ticket.

^Um...lol...I know Ayu is a superstar and all...but If I was staffed by her to check tickets....my job would go something like...*take ticket* *rip* *heres your stub* *next*...lol

But for fanclub tickets, they have each persons name written on them for a reason - it's to prevent people from reselling their tickets. People have been kicked out of the fanclub for doing that. So they do tend to treat fanclub tickets a bit more seriously.

I recieved the tickets today.

Here's one of the tickets. It's obviously a TeamAyu ticket, but I can't find the name on it (?)... It looks like a "normal" TeamAyu ticket to me... But maybe I'm wrong?

^ There is a name on it in the bottom left and right hand corners. I would say go ahead and chance it though. As I said, most concert staff, even if they are supposed to make an issue of it, won't want to due to the language barrier alone.

Aah, good luck with using this ticket! I really hope it goes well. If they question you say that you bought it online, and you didn't know it wasn't allowed to buy tickets from TA members.

If anything, the sellers will be in trouble for selling the tickets - not you, who didn't know any better. Being a foreigner will be a great benefit ^_^
