CAROLS location?
 

I hope this hasn't been asked before. Nothing came up...
Dose anyone know where Carols was filmed? What is the location of the merry-go-round, and What is the name of the (theatre) empty stage ayu is on?

I think it's in Japan. You just want the country? Cos I would never be sure of the exact prefecture and all.

Anyway, in the making of CAROLS, there was a deleted scene with Ayu on an ever-swinging swing, but it got deleted cos the winds were too strong... and CAROLS was released in September, so around that time, it's Autumn, which makes sense for the strong winds and all.

well you tried. I have no idea what ayu on a swing with the wind blowing has anything to do with were the theater she was in is located. but thanks. I mean like, what is the name of the theater? apollo theater, black box theater, blah blah blah and where in japan it is.

Oh, I said that to like show that the whole PV location is most likely in Japan instead of some other country.

And about what you really want to know, I doubt most of us would know. Sorry dude. :(

anyway, that carousel looked semi-landmarkish, so if someone is from japan (if it is in fact in japan) and knows about the theme parks and if there is a carousel that's similar... or did she ever talk about the pv in a magazine interview? because we do know where she shot blue bird, rule, etc.

I think it's Kodak Theatre and the merry-go-round is in U.S too...

was ayu in US at that time? maybe someone can check her deji deji diary to see if she was?

I don't recognize the theater and the carousel isn't distinct enough to tell. they all look the same to me.

All I can tell you guys is that the carousel was also used in Nana Kitade's "LUM no LOVE SONG" pv. :( Found screencaps of that one here: http://www.moetron.com/2006/10/26/na...pv-collection/

^ Thank you! Well, this more or less confirms the PV to be filmed in Japan then. They could actually just use any random theater... I think most of them should look the same in Japan.

most of PV (as we can see in the making of) is filmed in a studio...the theatre could be one of the numerous theatres there are in Japan..
