Is this correct?

I downloaded ayu-mi-x II version Non-Stop Mega Mix and the first track on disc 2 is a remix of Far away..
but Far away single was released a month after this remix album

is it correct? :tired I'm confused

from official site:
ayu-mi-x II version Non-Stop Mega Mix (March 8, 2000)
Far away (May 17, 2000)

Interesting, never noticed that... But still, Far away had being surely composed & recorded by the time of the album's release, so isn't something impressive

Quote:

Disc 2 featured all new remixes, including an unfinished version of "Far away" (HAL's MIX 2000)
This is what Wikipedia said. Ayu had already recorded Far away before that. And there's completed version of "Far away" (HAL's MIX 2000) featured in Far away single.:)

The Far away remix you see on ayu-mi-x 2 is an uncompleted version of it. I guess HAL just wanted to give people a preview of the song and the actual remix? I dunno, whatever. I thought it was weird too xD

thanks for your replies ^^
I think it's very nice from her to give a new song to a remix album :love

edit: I noticed that HAL Mix from album and single are different @_@ the one from the single has more vocals on it

Yes, the HAL's Mix 2000 on ayu-mi-x II is an earlier version of it.

At this point, perhaps Far away had already started playing on the radio. Unfortunately, I'd just discovered ayu right after the Far away single was released so I couldn't tell you for sure.
