Similarities between Uso Mitai na I Love you and...
 

So, today I was listening to Uso Mitai na I Love You by Hikaru Utada...and the intro reminds me of GAME by Ayu. Does anyone else notice the similarities of the intros? :P

not really but the similarities will be with Hikari and Uso Mitai na I Love You

Yeah I agree the intros sound...not similar...but reminiscent of each other...however I dont think the rest of the songs sound similar at all.

Ah yes I know that Simple and Clean uses the melody from Uso Mitai na. :P

It's probably just because that particular twinkling sound is a 'set' recording of beats. You see it a lot in some pop songs--alan's background twinkles and music is like, seriously reminiscent of some earlier Ayu stuff and it's either because the composers are blending or it's this stock noise that composers use.

I thought it was the other way around. since s&c was created before hikari it means it's older. I thought she used the riff from hikari but it didn't work so she used s&c instead.

They don't sound quite alike for me... The intro of GREEN is more likely sumwat smilar to that of "Sakure Modern" by Alan. ...i dunno, but for me they sound the same! LOL

The intos are very similar! The guitars and such, I noticed the other day!

there are so many similarities in this world.. so just let it be~ though~
