The Past & Other Side of Ayu??

I was looking at the out of stock/out of print items of Ayu in yesasia and I found this:

http://www.yesasia.com/global/ayumi-...0-en/info.html

the item description says that "This CD "The Past & Other Side of Ayu" features Hamasaki Ayumi songs from before she became famous including the 1995 release "Nothing From Nothing." It also includes this year's "The Other Side" which was released in very limited quantities."

What is this exactly?? Does anyone of you guys have it or know someone that does? Does anyone know where to download this from??

thanks!

wow, nice find, i have no clue about this... wait until Deli finds this thread, she's bound to know something xD

ok, just did a google search for it and found this
could also be a bootleg or something, but then again could be real, not sure :S

^It seems to be like the real one. Wow. I wish I could own this.

oh oh. At the lower side of the yesasia site, there are some viewers gave some comments. And it said, this album is bootleg. Although it is bootleg, it contains the rare songs from Ayu. It is before Ayu signed contract with Avex.

I want it T__T I wanna download it at least lol

ren0210989 26th September 2009 01:23 PM

^but only the ones from the nothing from nothing, but that ain't hard to find for download, look at the pictures for the singles B&D, kanariya WHATEVER etc. those aren't the covers, i saw the pics somewhere before, so it's probablly something someone made up...
so i don't think the "other side" thing really exsists, + it said in the description it was released THIS YEAR, we would soooo know about it, even if it had very limmited quantities...

LacusClyne 26th September 2009 04:27 PM

it is a china version

mellody 26th September 2009 04:30 PM

It doesn't have any Japan Version??

extepan 26th September 2009 04:31 PM

i used to have it, but i sold it on ebay. it's just a bootleg from china, it contains nothing from nothing, and some random collection of ayu's songs.

It IS a bootleg from china. Back when yesasia first put this up for sale (I bought it in like, 2001), it was rare but still not entirely unusual for them to put higher-quality bootlegs on the site if they contained material that was hard to find. The printing & sound quality are both VERY high on this release, it was actually very well put-together. If you only wanted the music, and not the real releases that these tracks came from, this purchase would actually be worth it. The box looked nice, the individual CDs used VERY high-quality copies of Tu-Ka pictures. I did eventually sell it, being that it was a bootleg and all, but I don't regret having bought it in the first place.

thanks for all the info guys ^^ I was expecting something more genuine... like the songs she sang live on TV when she was like 15 or 16 lol

thanks again!

I kind of figured it was bootleg. But if Deli says the quality and everything is good, I'd buy it. :)
