An ad?

Whoa, I just went to the main index page and an ad was above the AHS logo, thingy. Never happened to me before. Maybe it's just my computer. :o

Has this happened to anyone else? Not a big deal, but weird. o_O

noidea 24th February 2010 07:45 PM

I just checked, no ad for me.

Crystal_Ageha 24th February 2010 09:01 PM

Uh, yeah, that's definitely yet to happen to me here, and I've been visiting on and off for a good while. o_O Make sure to scan your computer with an antivirus, to make sure you didn't catch anything that would cause it...

JackieRos 24th February 2010 09:13 PM

I never had gotten any ad

that's so weird

xLitax 24th February 2010 09:52 PM

Great! Probably a virus... :bawl

My computer crashed before, so you'd think I'd take better care of it. XD

Picaflor 7/4 25th February 2010 01:28 AM

pommy48 25th February 2010 02:43 AM

Those aren't related to whatever xLitax is reporting.

It happened again.

Weird.

Crystal_Ageha 25th February 2010 06:18 AM

Did you scan your computer at all yet....? Because that's really, really weird... Definitely seems like something got in your computer, one way or another.

Rainbow141 25th February 2010 07:13 PM

Oof, that really sucks! I would definitely scan your computer thoroughly.

Wow. AT&T invaded AHS. >_> In any case, a virus that smuggles in -more- pop-up ads on the internet is pretty messed up. :thud

nmskalmn 26th February 2010 02:09 AM

If you are the only person being affected then I would guess there is malware on your computer. You might need to run some anti-spyware programs.

xLitax 26th February 2010 02:44 AM

Why do I always get viruses? AAHHH!

Okay, of to go download some anti-spyware software. :D

^I'd suggest DLing Firefox too. Firefox is 100x safer and more secure than IE.

kendelle 1st March 2010 01:35 PM

^ I actually stopped using FF because of memory leaks that froze my laptop and use Google Chrome now. It takes getting used to but it's a lot faster for me!

That is very strange, I'd suggest you get a program like Ad Aware and Windows Defender and do thorough scans...be very wary about new sites you visit!

Brownchild 1st March 2010 11:37 PM

Strangely I don't see any ads...0.0

xLitax 2nd March 2010 12:12 AM

^ Nah, I'm the strange one. I was the only one with the ads. Damn viruses!

Bigtop 4th March 2010 05:03 AM

Possible virus problem...have you scanned for viruses yet?
