April 14th (Wed) NEW ALBUM [Rock'n'Roll Circus] Release!

Release date confirmed for 11th official album!
Including big hit double-A-side singles [Sunrise/Sunset~LOVE is ALL~] [You were.../BALLAD], and recordings done in London for the first time, the new album features 10 new tracks (planned).
The DVD will feature more than half the number of songs in the album, with 8 music clips! Moreover, all making-of clips will be included. Digests for the DVD [ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2009 A ~NEXT LEVEL~], which will be released on the same day, will be included as a bonus as well!

How the layout of the box will probably look..

CD contains 14 tracks. DVD contains 17 tracks.

April 14th (Wed) LIVE DVD [ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2009 ～NEXT LEVEL～] Release!

Spanning about 7 months in 2009, from April to October, with 35 shows in 12 cities around the country, produced by 300,000 staff, the much anticipated DVD for the Arena Tour Live is here! The entire show done on the very last day at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo has been recorded!
With songs from the [NEXT LEVEL] album, mixed with popular songs from the past and present, and 10 costume changes, an entertaining and colourful show never before seen.
All emcee sessions, bigscreen movies, and videos of special moments will be included (planned)!!

Some other facts to point out:
- photobook is 36 pages
- photobook will come with the CD+DVD version in the limited box
- 10 new tracks and 14 total tracks are subject to change
- It is unsure whether or not the LIMITED BOX will have different cases for everything contained within or not...
- CD only has no first press at the moment, but we have yet to find out more.
- The amount of interludes is not known yet, but people still seem to be saying that there will be 4 with no reasoning other than what has been done for NEXT LEVEL and GUILTY... at the moment though, no one knows anything.
- Sexy little things will be on the album, it just has not been listed in the tracklist since the songs that have currently airing CMs (Microphone, Don't look back) are the only tracks that Japan knows of right now. We know of it from ViVi, but that's about it... there's no reason for it to be listed in the tracklist at the moment.

My decision to purchase the album rests on-- yes the cover, and tracklist. I'm too impatient to wait 2/3 wks. :(

It'll almost be a year since NEXT LEVEL, wow. The covers will probably come out around then.

I'm not worried about them at all.. I'm a big fan of ND CHOW's work with ayu. I'd be surprised if they were bad.

Nah. I actually don't worry, I'm just so excited to see what she's got in mind, that I can hardly wait. It's just the waiting game that's killing me :dead

and yeah, for next level we had to wait +2weeks for the covers ^^ I hope it will be sooner this time ^^...

and answering a post in the last thread, someone quoted me and said that the album is a whole, with title and cover... yeah, I agree and I know the title and the covers are important, it's the first people see, and what may attract casual listeners to buy the album or not.

And I respect people not liking the title, not everyone has to like it, of course! it's just that people make a big deal of the name, and for some just to know that this was the name made them be less excited for the album... why?? Even if the title and the cover are important, the MUSIC is the first priority for me. If I like the covers and the title too? GREAT! perfect!, but if not, I don't care. I wouldn't buy the poster, for example xD

well, that's all I'm gonna say about the damn title XDD

btw... you know....

This cover is going to be epic. No soft, minimalist piece this time. This is going to be a sharp, edgy avant-garde piece of awesome. Or so I hope.

I think after seeing the cute off-shot pictures from London that the covers will be nice! Especially if it's a different photographer... Also the photobook will be nice as it has a theme to it...

Don't set your expectations too high, haha.

I somehow feel as though we'll be getting a few "...these are not what I expected..." comments when they do come out. Though You were.../BALLAD was a HUGE surprise for most people.

Oh yeah, I realized what would've been worse titles:
LOVE is ALL, Sunrises/Sunsets, BALLADS, They Were..., For TeamAyu, and others. (Variations of single titles would've probably p/o'd waaaaay more people off.)

I am LOVING how large the DVD tracklist got, haha.
