In english:

You pretended to be ready for the backlash that would follow makeshift pleasure. (I had a confrontation between) reality and what I felt/thought that day.

The parenthesis has been added to explain the sentence. Tsujihiro gets this idea from hearing the song. Credits goes to him! but... we have passed half an hour to write the english meaning you have here! ^^uuuu
Genjitsu to hi wo omou omoi doesn't really mean that, though. You can fudge it to mean "The feeling of feeling reality and day," which doesn't really mean anything.

The lyric is actually 現実逃避はもう終わり genjitsu touhi wa mou owari. Two Japanese listeners in other threads mentioned this, and it is the only suggestion that makes grammatical and semantical sense. It means "I'm through with escaping reality."
