Humming 7/4 is at least a little more interesting. It actually has a very nice musical contour. For me what makes it sub-par (the par being CREA's previous compositions) is the cheerleader-esque quality of the chorus melody. But that being said, it's a lot more difficult to convincingly compose an upbeat tune than it is to compose a darker or aggressive one. And most of CREA's previous compositions were dark and/or aggressive.

Which leads me to think that Ayu only composes when she seriously has something to "compose" or write about.

I think Tru simply means "full songs", of average length, with substantial vocals, and likely to be performed actively rather than passively as scene-change music. Interludes are of course entirely valid pieces of music.
