I'm not a pro at retouching, so I kinda just covered up a lot of patterns with strong gradients (I was just making a bunch of wallpapers so.. meh. lol.).
I find it kinda sad though that the graininess is apparent even at a size of 1024x768, but I'm finding that it's a miracle that images that are physically smaller than the wallpaper itself can still result in a kinda good image (while some... look.. really.. bad..)
Is it normal to get such fuzzy-like photos from large scans? I'm hoping that I'm not doing anything wrong, but.. you never know. I've only fully scanned like 4 booklets or so in the course of my Ayu fandom.
