really? I'm different lol...BoA's voice literally ruins her music for me...kinda feel bad about it...but oh well...
About the hikki's style thing...I don't know you know...she always, I mean R&B is supposed to be her style and genre, but I always kind of saw her music as devoid of a genre lol it's so different...that being said, I think she knows exactly what she is doing when she has something sound a certain way, I mean, she's very smart, and she knows a ton about music...The album was supposed to be mainstream, and R&B and pop. A lot of the songs for me are like throwbacks to those genres in the past.
The album sounds...exactly how she wanted it to...so...I don't know if I'd say she was trying too hard...she tried for something, and accomplished it.
I actually think it's not as R&B and mainstream as it really could have been...you still don't hear a lot of songs on the radio that sound like the ones on this album...
