I don't think it really matters how close it is [12/16 -> 12/23 -> 12/29] but it's interesting how the soundtrack for the movie is coming out on 12/16 as well.
It's sorta weird imo that a straight-to-DVD/Blu-ray movie in America is coming out in cinemas in Japan.
It would've been kind of interesting if Fukuyama were to go against Ayu, but eh. As if anyone's actually going to remember down the road that she moved singles around. I think she's done it in the past too [or other artists moved for Ayu] but no one could really recall when.

Kind of? I don't think the song will be in the movie at all, but will probably be sold in theatres showing it. Usually they'd label a song as the shudaika / theme song, but this one's just an "image song."
