To flip things around:
Quote:
i think people disliking people who dislike the title have a legitimate reason to say something to them.

they can say whatever they want about them and shouldn't be crucified, nor should they have to justify their reasons for disliking them to make others happy.
(IMO, most of the time, this sort of thing can go for both sides and it just goes in ciiiiiiiiiirccclees.)

You're free to feel how you like about the title, but it's something you'll have to live with for the rest of Ayu's career, unfortunately for those who don't like it. I guess it's just a bit strange that there's such a huge backlash against it because it sounds so tacky (which it does)... I'll have to admit that when I saw that the tour was titled ~Rock'n'Roll Circus~ I did a bit of a double take and was like this at my computer for a minute or two trying to process the title:

However, I eventually got over that huge "What the heck?" feeling, haha.

Voicing dissatisfaction is normal when things aren't simple/as you'd expect them to be (Bold&Delicious, (miss)understood, Rule/Sparkle and Sunrise/Sunset's covers...) but I think eventually fans just get used to them, or they accept that it's the title and move on. Of course, there are always those who bring up the titles of yesteryear that they hated ("HAHAH REMEMBER THAT TITLE? STEP YOU? OH GOD TERRIBLE. AND (MISS)UNDERSTOOD/BOLD&DELICIOUS? TACKIEST. THING. EVER. Why did she even bother?!" and so on) but I don't think people really pay attention to those people anyway, haha. It'll be interesting to see how reaction ends up to this album as a whole (covers, PVs, music, etc.) and if the title is the only thing that people end up being able to criticize. (and the inclusion of Sunset for some people...) At the end of the day, a year from now, or five years down the line, will people really be saying "Ew, that album had such a bad title?" I think not, because for the most part, the beating that (miss)understood undertook after being titled in such a way is only a distant memory about 5 years later, and people just remember how fantastic they feel the album is.

i think the title is embarrassing and try-hard, especially for someone her age. it just sounds desperate.
This is the exact sort of thing that popped up when (miss)understood was announced. It was tacky, desperate, trying too hard to sound clever, and was just... "Blah" and no one really cares, haha. I fail to see how Rock'n'Roll Circus sounds desperate, as imo, a title that sounds desperate would sound something more like "MY BEST ALBUM", "ELEVEN" or "SONGS FROM MY MIND" or something. I think people are possibly just overreacting to the title because it's really not all that bad. (Sunrise/Sunset's covers.. those were terribad.) The title might be not all that great to you now, but I feel as though if the album is as great as it's looking to be, the title won't really matter in the end. (But if the album ends up terrible to fans, I don't know what'll happen. "The circus is a rocking and rolling laughingstock!" or something...)

I'm a bit confused now.....
So the box set comes with a photobook, right??
Does CD+DVD also has a photobook and if so is it the same as the one in the box set??
If you read the first post, you would know that the CD+DVD in the box set is a first press version which includes a photobook.
