Oh, it's a long story. Rhythm Zone wasn't satisfied with Kumi or her chart performance. By the end of 2002, there were rumors avex was going to drop her. Never any confirmation, but Max most likely stepped in and saved her at the last minute. real Emotion/1000 no Kotaba was probably her last chance and thankfully turned out to be a platinum single and helped her 2nd album become successful.
@ Corvina, I can't get into her 2nd album. Maybe it's because avex didn't let her write as much.
