For Akatsuki, a couple of Bad Religion MP3s and album recommendations!

Suffer, 1988

Best for you (1.8M)
Do what you want (1.0M)

Suffer is a pretty old album. Bad Religion had released two albums prior to this, one a punkrock album, and one a new wave album. They split up after having released the new wave one, and later reunited to make Suffer. It's a classic punkrock album, great songs, and very punk altogether.

No Control, 1989

I want to conquer the world (2.1M)
The world won't stop (1.8M)

No Control is the follow-up to Suffer, and showcases a similar sound. However, Bad Religion has developed - more melody, while still undeniably punkrock. Brilliant album, one of my personal favorites.

Against The Grain, 1990

Anesthesia (2.7M)
Modern man (1.7M)

Against The Grain again had a more developed sound, with some brilliant songs that combined both melody and fury. Simply awesome, recommended if you like No Control and Suffer as well.

Generator, 1992

Atomic garden (2.9M)
Too much to ask (2.5M)

Generator is on the whole a tad slower than the previous albums. It was the first album with Bobby Schayer on drums (replacing Pete Finestone), which probably influenced the sound a lot. Altogether a decent album.

Stranger Than Fiction, 1994

Infected (3.8M)
Stranger than fiction (2.1M)

Stranger Than Fiction is generally an album that follows the sound of Generator (a tad slower), but its sound is more developed and the album is better than Generator as a whole. Very nice.

The New America, 2000

A world without melody (2.3M)
You've got a chance (3.4M)

The New America was produced by Todd Rungren - it's hard to call it punkrock (although some songs are still pretty up-tempo), which is why it got a lot of bad critics. Not deserved though, this album is one of my favorites - really brilliant songs on here, definitely worth picking up.

The Process Of Belief, 2002

Epiphany (3.7M)
Materialist (1.7M)

The Process Of Belief is a return to the old punkrock-roots - a lot of fast-paced songs (and a new drummer), but, as ever, still melodic. A more than decent release.

Of course, Bad Religion released some more albums, but these I'd call my favorites and are definitely worth seeking out. Enjoy!
