Could Making Fate be an Ending Sequence ??

According to the leaked scan, the theme song for Tales of Xillia will be named Making Fate. The lyrics are by Hamasaki herself, with the music coming from Tetsuya Komura and Yuta Nakano. The arrangement is also done by Nakano.

Could Making Fate possibly be the ending sequence or epilogue / ending song for Tales of Xillia? There has to be a reason why this song was announced and I don't think this is just a rumor as many speculated.
~ Like in the game "Thousand Arms" You had Depend on You as title / opening song and you had Two of Us as <hidden> ending sequence.

his just in from Tales of Festival 2011. Tales of Xillia will have two different opening movies.

Yesterday, in Day 1 of Tales of Festival 2011, Namdai showed what everyone thought to be the game's opening movie. Today, another opening movie was shown. Namdai explained that the opening that was shown yesterday was in fact the Milla version opening. The one that was shown today was the Jude version. It seems the opening changes depending on which path you take at the game's beginning, though this hasn't been confirmed yet.

With the game having two openings, fans are even speculating that the game just might have two different endings too, depending on the path taken.

This info is from various Tweets of people in Japan who went to the ToF2011. All of their posts match up, so it's safe to assume the information is legit.

the game will have 2 different openings, maybe for one character the song progress is reserved while making fate is for the other one ?! (though I am not sure about this)

I'm not sure any of these "speculations" are or have to be true, but isn't it weird that there are so many sites claiming that Making Fate will come out for Tales of Xillia?

I like this theory I'd love it if Making Fate was more than a rumour.

The main reason people discard it as such is cause someone tweeted Ayu about it and she had no idea what it was. Unless she was playing dumb - but if it had been "officially announced" like it supposedly was, she really had no reason to

They mean there are two openings, each with progress. One will be dedicated to Millia, the other for Jude. Apparently different story points come up depending on who you choose to play as?

Making Fate was a bit of a troll by a Japanese fan, I guess. That was probably a 'scan' aka someone made it in Photoshop, printed it out, and took a photo. We never figured out where that came from actually.

The reason for that is because it initially came out here after someone tweeted the photo and then spread to a bunch of other Tales sites back when we had no idea about anything other than the fact that Ayu was doing a Tales theme. But since then, we've found out that Ayu had no idea what it was and because no one ever found a source, we figured it was fake. I wonder who was the one who made it up to begin with.

Yeah... it would be nice, but I figured there was no real reason for them to print a small stanza of the lyrics in a magazine. I don't think that's normal for a gaming magazine anyway.

But on the other hand, Namco (the game publisher) is known for having an theme song with lyrics (a sung theme song) in their games and an ending sequence with lyrics! For example: Ridge Racer and Namco X Capcom.

But I have to admit that I feel like I'm fooling myself with this

We all know that Ayu is doing a theme song for Tales of Xillia and we also know that it's never mentioned that she would do 2 songs..... .... .


And like many games with a sung intro (theme) maybe this game will have an ending theme too, which possibly could feature lyrics and Ayu's vocals.

I imagine it's more likely they will use a rearrangement of "progress" - such as an orchestral version or an orchestral instrumental - rather than a totally new track. Especially as it is more likely they would have announced both tracks if she were doing both.

Would be great if they announced a second song for the game though, it just seems a bit unlikely.
