Part of alterna is in the PV!

Well, if you didn't get what I meant when I posted this thread ... I'm saying that I'll feel that alterna's very empty if I hadn't seen the PV! The PV and song goes hand in hand! Do you all feel the same way too?

I really can't just sit and listen to alterna by itself ... I have to watch the PV together with the song! That's alterna! Not the song by itself!

How do you all feel about alterna then? Need the PV? Or not?

i know how you feel, i think so too, a song would sound better if i'd seen the PV, and so does alterna, the song's really cool, but since i haven't seen the PV, it lacks the coolness of it. so. i'm still waiting for my fairyland CD+DVD to arrive [as i've mentioned in so many threads], i'm with you ruixiong89...

ummm....I don't like alterna pv at all so I prefer listening to the song only (by the way I love alterna)

Since i first saw the PV with the song in bad quality, I had the same opinion as you, ruixiong89, however, when I listened to the cd quality track alone, I got goosebumps! the song by itself stands alone and is pretty awesome in my opinion. I can definitely listen to it several times without watching the video.

First time I heard alterna was through a CM for panasonic, so I usually picture that commercial in my head... haha, but I prefer to just listen to the song really loud with a ton of bass dance around to it.

aww i love listening to songs with my CD player and ear phones!

Better than headphones is listening to the song full blast in the ambient. It's a lot much better than focus the whole thing in your ears LOL

after watching the pv, it's hard to listen to the song without the image, but i am still able to listen to the song whether or not the pv is there.

I get what you mean but I feel that way more with fairyland. I didn't like the alterna PV but I LOVE the song, so I perfer listening to it without the PV. As for fairyland I didn't like the song at first ( It really grew on me), but I love the PV and could only listen to the song if the PV was with it.

I feel that way with a lot of her songs I always used to only listen to the song because I never got to see the PVs and now I've been downloading Pvs only and I feel like I appreciate the song better.

I'm with ruixiong89, I loved alterna when I first heard it, but after seeing the PV I was MADLY in love with it. It's such a wonderful PV. I think they do go hand in hand.
I was very sad when I showed the PV to my sister, who was a big Ayu fan back in 2001-2002. My sis just watched the PV in horror, and when it was done she just said, "What the heck? That was horrible!" and stormed off. I was devastated! Then she had one of her friends over and was telling her about how bad the PV is, so I had to put my thoughts into their conversation, until her friend wanted to see it for herself. After she saw it, she agreed with my sister!!
So it's very reassuring to know that there are people out there who really like it, and see the symbolism and the meaning in it.
