I just posted this over at T-N, but I wanted to post it here to...because it kinda confuses me...

People probably already know about this...but what the hell...

At YesAsia, on August 30, 2006 L'Arc~en~Ciel will release 15 Singles of some of their biggest songs. All Singles will sell for $10.99, or $7.75. There is also a free gift offer.

"When you purchase 10 or more applicable items within the section L'Arc-en-Ciel New Releases, you will be entitled to receive one L'Arc -en- Ciel 2006 OFFICIAL Calendar (Preorder only Limited Edition) (Japan Version) for free!"

so why are they releasing these? are they like re-releases? And I thought the calender was already released...

It appears to be a limited edition version of the calandar... whether there's any difference to the normal one or not i don't know. It's a reasonable offer, but i can't really see it being worthwhile wince i'm guessing a lot of fans may already have the singles or at least albums featuring these songs, not to mention the calendar. And paying out over $100 to get a free calendar (which is only half useful due to the date) just doesn't seem worth it imo

And i thought the same about the calender...it's already July, and they want us to buy it...

Because they're celebrating their 15th Anniversary.
All the re-release singles are 12cm format while they used to be 8cm except for Shinsyoku -lose control-.
And the original release of "the Fourth Avenue Cafe" was canceled back in the True era because of the sakura incident, so this is the first time this song gets released as a single.
