Perhaps you're talking about the TeamAyu / mu-mo special gifts that are only available until a certain date.

KOKIA do the same... and still ayu fans get the mayority of Ayu stuff. on the contrary, overseas KOKIA fans get quite a little part of the VAST KOKIA stuff around there, specially lives. Read more here.
